About Us
Founded in 2004, the Consortium of Information Systems Executives is an informal forum of Bay Area Information Technology executives that meets monthly to discuss current and future enterprise IT challenges. This forum also enables its membership to collaborate on various ways of solving their IT issues, through the sharing of relevant and timely information and the promotion of service on various affiliated public service committees.

The key objective of the CISE is to facilitate learning and contribution of the membership through open exchange of non-competitive information, challenges and best practices in three broad areas of CIO responsibilities:

People

• Recruiting, retaining, and development of IT staff
• Building partnerships with executive management, and internal and external customers
• Mentoring, supporting and giving back to the IT community by sponsoring the education and mentoring of IT professionals via several sub-groups.
Processes
• Understanding enterprise business drivers and aligning existing, or developing new IT processes around the success of these drivers
• Best practices
• Benchmarking

Technology
• Sifting through the ever-expanding number of technology options
• Leveraging existing systems
• Integration, mergers, and acquisitions
• Case studies, ROI
