CIO SCHOLARSHIP FUND is a nonprofit corporation (Federal Tax ID is
#20-0332093) established to provide scholarship aid to disadvantaged
students in the study of Information Technology and/or Computer
Science. In addition to donations from the CIO Forums, the fund
is supported by private donations and the proceeds from two books
written by executive volunteers, "The Executive Guide to Information
Security: Threats, Challenges, and Solutions(ISBN 0-32-130451-9)--

CIO Wisdom: Best Practices from Silicon Valley(ISBN 0-13-141115-2)
-- by Dean Lane and 20 authors who are part of the IT executive
source pool for CIO Forums. Ohio State University (OSU) has been
approved to receive scholarship grants. Last year three IT students
were approved for grants totaling $9,000. |
